Career Expo

NWIBT hosts a Building Trades Career Expo each year with our partner organization, Project First Rate. Visit the next Expo to find out what it takes to become an apprentice, participate in hands-on construction activities, and learn more about a career in the trades. Students and the general public are welcome. There is no cost to attend.

The 2024 Career Expo will be held on February 20th, 21st, and 22nd at Plumbers and Pipefitters Local #23, 4525 Boeing Drive, Rockford.

The Expo runs from 10:00am to 3:15pm each day with a break for lunch. The morning session begins at 10:00am and ends at 12:00pm. The afternoon session begins at 1:15pm and ends at 3:15pm. Individuals and small groups (five people or less) can attend during any of these times. Please do not attend during the lunch break between 12:00pm and 1:00pm.
